I once saw a rainbow pour over a mountain cap like
hot chocolate over an ice cream mound.
I watched as it lazily wrap and flow its colors of
orange, grape and banana, silently down its rocky sides.
I watched with hungry eyes as it dripped and encircled into itself, creating in one movement, a brand new palate.
I reached out with eyes closed and as sure as I'm breathing,
That rainbow covered stone sat perched within the center of my palm.
And there, for that split second,
I alone held the worlds color in my hand.
