My chest spread wide open
Vunerable, naked, raw
Your hands have touched
All I have hidden
That aches to feel again
To be seen, to be heard
Caressing yesterdays scars
Still bathed in uncertainties
The world as I knew it
Uneven, on tilt
Comfortable misery distantly
Laid barely in arms
Frightened to hold these
Fragile gifts too close

| Giving it ' all ' for love, sometimes it hurts, sometimes it's beautiful... always... it's worth it. You write from the heart and that is where the real poetry lives... |
