Who Can You Depend Upon
Oh wretched man
Who can depend on thy word?
And give their allegiance upon
Who has precious blood?
To give and to save
And never take away.
I hear Him coming on wings of a horse
Pure white
Yet His robe has been bloodied in the wine press
And He calls the eagle
To the feast
He flies in from out of the East.
He gives a taste of His grace
A drop of his love covers the grassy field
Like dew in the morning
He comes and goes without any warning
Those who can sleep – sleep on
Those who can dream – dream on.
With the rising of the sun
I’ll be gone.
Those who can preach – preach on
Those whom you can reach – better take hold
There is more than enough time in eternity to grow old
Best to be bold
The Ancient of Days
Can still be fresh and new
No matter what you did
Nor what you’re going to do
His Judgment He brings will be true
I pray His grace and mercy He shows to you.
