Genetic Inheritance

You look just like your dad

born in the image of your father

Looks into genesis and goes strait to the revelation

A constant strain of denegation

You’re probably told otherwise

Attempting to glorify yourself

You self destruct

Falling into the deception and lies

You’ve heard

And been told

Your whole life

Since you were conceived.

So now you believe!

In what?

Yourself?

This planet?

How did you degenerate into this cesspool

Made by no other

You can never clean yourselves

So when do you call for help

When you’re at the end

Pleading for a ray from the sun

Stubborn, two's better than one.

You are cursed

Doesn’t get much worse

Oh yes it can

Groans are felt

Heard all over this universe.

Which was spoken into existence

All look for repentance

Ending with a verdict of guilty

You throw your curses back

And want no pity

Turning away from that golden city.

Who has treasured hope?

Your earthly father will die

But your Heavenly Father never will

What instills fruitful faith?

How do you eternally love?

By feelings

No -  by invasion

Surrender

To a ghost from the past who has no past

You’re made holy at last

The complete opposite to what you think

Genetic Inheritance – the missing link.

I truly believe that genetics plays a much larger part in our behavior than social scientists and educators would believe exists. It seems that all the bad things that exist because people do them stems directly from genetic defects built into our psyche that overcome the right thing.

Interesting write.

A kind of poetic apologetics. Fine work DWB. Certainly, when we all close our eyes in death, everyone will know (without equivocation) the ramifications of their Earthly choices. Stay your course and endure (in all faith) the seasons sent to test and refine. richard
