The hardest decision I ever made in my life, taking anothers life. Even though I save five people including two babies, This will forever be in my heart and mind |
|
Allow me to be a light to a child.
I hope that my children can see the good
that is within people. I try to see it, but
sometimes my eyes are blurred by the
injustice we endure. I want my kids to know
that the sacrifices I make is for them.
I pray that someday they will understand,
and maybe explain it to me.
I feel the need to help the less fortunate
and guide a victim to shelter.
I pray for compassion, for I realize that some have
had struggles in life far greater than mine.
I know that many did not have the luxury
to be taught by my teachers,
nor the love of my parents.
I pray for safety of my police family.
If it were not for them I would be lost
myself. The friends that are true are very
Few, but they stay thru the rough times.
I feel very blessed and believe that Angels
look after me. I pray for the life’s that I
am able to touch and the ones that I cannot.
When my time comes to leave this place, I
pray that I find peace that is missing here.
The years of being a cop have taken its toll.
This policeman’s prayer is for you not to
judge, but encourage me that I might
continue the struggle for good.
That man made his decision
and wanted to die.
I had to save those lives
Five souls I had to protect.
Though I’ll live with this
the rest of my life.
I pray my kids
Will understand
And be proud of me!
God forgive me!
Amen
