She Dances

She Dances

for Pam

She dances in a circle

she dances in a square

she dances on Earth

she dances on air

she dances the sun

she dances the moon

but most of the time

she dances for fun.

She dances bright Venus

and dances ruddy Mars

 then she touches the ground

on her return from the stars.

She dances the labyrinth to the center.

she dances the ineffable

what can’t be said.
