My husband and I sat quietly one evening watching tv. Our children are grown, we are "empty nesters." I wrote this for him the next day...... For all of you partners that find life a little less hectic, it ain't so bad!
|
Love's Full Bloom
HOW DID WE GET FROM THE PAST TO HERE? Sharing the hush of the empty nest. Sitting quietly together your touch reminds me of our love once new. I love sitting here all alone with you.
HOW DID WE GET FROM THE PAST TO HERE? With comfortable love yet passion so near, Your eyes search mine from across the room. We lock in a gaze and for a moment we return to our young fresh selves and romance in bloom.
HOW DID WE GET FROM THE PAST TO HERE? Our reflections in the mirror proves there's been a change. But the feelings in our hearts will remain the same. Our quiet love so strong, so real, this is how it should be this is how it should feel.

| How wonderful these two are still so in love after many years of marriage. We should all be so lucky to have a partner for life, who will always be by our side. Julia is so good at bringing us into her world through her poetry. Thanks I really enjoyed. |
