Her eyes are green,
Her hair is blond,
She looks like
Olivia Newton John.
My eyes are brown,
So is my hair,
On a good day,
I can look like Cher.
In high school,
She attracted all the jocks,
The only boys I got
Came from auto shop.
When we were young,
I hated her beauty,
Mainly because
I wasn't a cutie.
Now that we're grown,
Not only sisters but friends,
I've come to appreciate
The beauty she carries within. |
|
A poem about my sister, Cyndi, whose inner beauty shines through like sunshine.

| Growing up is a challenge for most kids. I guess we all have our memories of some that seemed to shine brighter. Good Poem. |
