One goes around the world, see so many sunsets from so many landscapes and yet...sitting at the Blue Dolphin terrace by Waikiki Beach surrounded by thousands and one intoxicating aromas of peace, one becomes a island's native himself.
Great poem, like an "aloha" by itself.

Marcia - Enjoyed the myth of the Plumeria tree. Vivid imagery:
The fallen blossoms pink, white or yellow
fall one by one and are scooped up
to adorn the hair of the maidens,
made into the last Plumeria leis till next spring,
decorate a plate of food lovingly presented,
or float with candles in a bowl,
