April Warmth

Longing for change, new ground, new faces
Once again I travel on but not alone.
The memories of our love
Wrap themselves around me
Like the cold winds of March.

I yearn for the warmth April will bring
While a cloak of apprehension
Clings to me like a wind-whipped sheet.
I long to hoist it high making of it a billowing sail
Praying it will voyage me beyond the memories
.

Marcia, this is filled with promise, full of the optimism we all should carry around -- may your wind filled sheet propel you to great heights of joy and leave any remorse far behind -- peace and love be with you my friend -- Jon Michael
