God's Handiwork

God’s Handiwork

When I look outside my window
At God’s handiwork all around
My heart beats a peaceful rhythm
Like a cheerful musical sound.

No where in my life have I seen
Beauty so wonderfully sweet and pure
As in the trees, the grass, the clouds and sky
Created by God’s great power for sure.

Everywhere I look I see such beauty
As if a canvas by God’s own artistic hand
Turning the natural environment upon the earth
Like a far-reaching museum upon the land.

What joy and pleasure awaits us
As we step outside our homes each day
Where we are greeted by all that God has made
And are motivated by his blessings to pray.

There is beauty all around us, if we only take the time to stop and see it. A beauty that some call rare, but has been there for eons created by the hand of God. Take the time to sniff the fresh air, take the time to look at and smell the flowers, see the beauty of spring in all the trees, the grass where we can throw a blanket and have a picnic. Listen to the beauty of the children playing, laughing and having a great time, listen to the birds sing their nerve relaxing songs, and look at the stars at night and the wonders they evoke in the mind's eye. Look at the beauty of the moon and the wonders of the sea and rivers. Yes, Jeanette, there is beauty all around us.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love and who love you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS), your little sister, Barbie

Dear Jeanette, I just want to add, without mentioning the large scale which is beyond our comprehension, that just the flowers and their colors and shapes and the matching insects leave me silently stunned and admiring the beauty and the perfection. Great poem, my friend. Love Emile

God is everywhere, and no place is His presence more evident than in the physical beauty that surrounds us all.

A sparkling sunrise coupled with the utter peace and quiet of an early morning lake-paddling in my red canoe listening for the Voice of God is one of my most appreciated moments in life. Truly, I'm dazzled and awe-stricken.

Your serene picture image and beautiful poem "God's Handiwork" reminds us all of "What joy and pleasure awaits us/As we step outside our homes each day." No matter the weather, it's always a majestic moment.

Thanks for sharing, Jeanette.
