This is beautiful, Joyce, and I could so easily envision all the things you spoke of. A few days ago a doe and her new fawn were in our back yard. I was trying to sneak out and take a photo of the two of them. The mother turned immediately when I slid the door open and looked at me intently. I thought it was so interesting that even with all of the sounds of the birds chirping and the wind in the willows and ducks on the pond, she could still hear that quiet foreign noise of the door. I stood there watching her and listening to the different sounds of the various birds and thought about how incredibly blessed we are, and sadly, how often we don't take the time to appreciate the beauty in the world around us.

| so powerful that you managed to capture the whole day in a wonderful verbal slice and to serve it up for us here as nectar, Joyce. You have been blessed indeed and now have committed this precious moment to page so that it might never fade. I'm sure it never will in your own heart and mind anyways. An attitude of gratitude is a joy to share in and behold. Bless you, TY Kate xx |
