Hi Joyce!
Am trying, by God to catch up...My leaves fell sideways this Fall and really...I'm trying to straighten me out before I hit the ground! HA! I love the Fall! It's my favorite season to write about, for whatever reason...everything... your chosen words described, is how I love to catch it! Just look at the splendid colors in this one!
Love and Peace~

Your poem brought so many emotions to life...and made me realize that maybe the reason I love fall so much is because of the poignant memories that surround it. It's a time for settling down, refocusing, slowing down and preparing to spend time with family. I don't know... but I do know that your poem was beautifully stated! I especially loved the last line.

This is a wonderful journey through your neighborhood and your memories. I love the way it unfolds with each part of Autumn revealing its scheduled tasks. And I really LOVE the line "Love filled the empty spaces as the leaves slowly sailed to the ground." The scenes pictured throughout this are soul-satisfying!
