You really are a master of this style. An awesome poet really. I love that final stanza turning all the "Autumn Melancholia" to a positive beat... "A transitional period, time to take stock,
rekindle all the love held within one's heart.
A time to gather close to family and friends,
with a heartfelt pledge never to part."
Yes, fall is the nostalgic season, and I miss it. Those who turn to the south for that "endless summer" pay a steep price: "NO true seasons!"
Thank you. |

| The changing of the weather means "one" good thing. Navel oranges, those sun cousins, are going to be in season soon. Just love sweet, juicy, navel oranges. Of course, those annoying tree leafs from the oaks are about to fall. On the other hand, think of the good cardio workout raking them up and adding them to the compost that will be used the next spring while getting the garden in looking forward to sweet, juicy tomatoes that are filled with rich flavor. Something to look forward to. |
