Silent fears......

             Silent fears......

Can you see me as I wrap my arms,
around your body so warm and tender?
Can you feel my hands as I reach out,
to hold your hands so rough and slender?

Feeling my presence with every breath,
as you carry on alone in this life.
Remembering the joy with a happy heart,
all that we share battling strife.

Seeing you through each painful affair,
so many times helped wipe your tears.
Offering a bright future ahead,
diminishing internal silent fears.

Watching you grow steadily strong,
inside your heart like a guiding light.
An abundant soul of love and compassion,
lifting your eyes into the night.

Envisioning what is yet to come,
staring out over the glistening sea.
Time, well it just passes too quickly,
but by your side always will be.

Oceans travel far and wide,
protecting deep mysteries of the unknown.
With a steady heartbeat palpitating,
only to return through guiding light shone.

Two sets of footprints in cool, moist sand,
yet, only one faint shadow can be seen.
Inner strength and an undying faith,
will carry through when times are lean.

Standing, wondering, mind running free,
unspecified treasures are yet to unfold.
Knowing deep down within your soul,
God's wisdom, and love is slowly told.

Can you see me as I wrap my arms,
around your body so warm and tender?
Can you feel my hands as I reach out,
to hold your hands so rough and slender?

Dear Karen, I know this beutiful feeling you just expressed. Not everyone has your talent to put into words the beat of your heart. Not everyone feels this beat, and those who feel it do not understand its meaning. As I wrote before, you have an art to describe your feelings in a very poetic way. I always learn English from all of you as I never put a foot in any English school. Thank you for sharing. Love Emile

Karen,
This is so different from your recent writes. This one feels more like a melody, and it's positive and inspiring. Beautiful lines in this. They haunt. Loved it. Hugs,
Sheila

Oh, for those Silent Fears, this stanza:

"Seeing you through each painful affair,
so many times helped wipe your tears.
Offering a bright future ahead,
diminishing internal silent fears."

offers "Chicken Soup for the Fearful Soul"

Karen, your beautiful words cause me to think that the speaker is speaking to one that has already passed away and this is more a prayer to the memory of one so loved that the dream of the one lingers as though still alive and within the speaker's arms, and within the hand of the other.
Beautiful words, Karen.
