I have no money to buy a gift Thru my crafts, I decide to sift.
There's tape and scissors, paper & glue There's bags & folders & boxes too,
I choose a round box that has a top My wheels are turning, I can't stop.
I want to make this box just right Even tho' the lid fits tight.
I measure & cut, mark and trace This box has no need for lace.
I get the paper glued on straight For you to see, I just can't wait.
I hope you like this piece of art This homemade gift comes from the heart.

Hello Fonda,
(You remind me of Jane-just kidding) Nice poem and full of meaning. The truth about giving is not the gift but the heart content of the giver.
"What brings joy to the heart is not the friend's gift but the friend's love." And it is true that what our hands make is always A WORK OF ART.
Thanks for such a wonderful poem!
I am blessed,
CYNTHIA |
