As a child in a mothers womb

I carry you from room to room

Thoughts of you are all I see

You live and breathe inside me



I long to feel your touch

Each time has meant so much



Trapped in purgatory

I pay my penance

I pour another glass of wine

Light some candles, I feel fine



Gazing through the forest at my leisure

These solitary moments will I treasure

Colors are changing, leaves are falling

Our lives rearranging, nature is calling



Of all the wonder my eyes have seen

Looking at you that day woke me from a dream

This new reality in forbidden splendor

The love of a lifetime that I will never surrender



Nothing will ever again be said so true

I want to grow old with you

I want to love you in each and every way

To be with you till your dying day
