Psalm 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
A tree that is well planted will stand in the midst of the storms of life. For its roots go deep and it is nourished by the living rivers of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I will rejoice not because of person gain or benefit but because my salvation is secure in Jesus. The thief [Satan] comes to rob, kill, and destroy – but Jesus came that I may have life and have it more abundantly.
Even in times of great trial, I can rest in him. I have the peace which passes ALL understanding. I see so many who are perplexed, anxious, and in fear of the things coming upon this earth during this time. Yet, within my heart I rejoice and give thanks for ALL things; for my redeemer draws near.
