Sunset in Africa

If you ever lived to see the sun set in Africa
Then, you would taste the pinnacle of beauty
Beauty in its entirety
Known only to those who have tasted it

Life in Africa may seem but slow
That an African day
Seems to be double the number of hours in one
But at the end comes a moment
Of reckoning the black continent
For what it has to offer
First begins with the slow sunset
That sees the day succumb to darkness
Lighting up the skies, the seas and the oceans
With the right blends of colors
Yielding a perfect hue
For wondrous sights to be seen
That remains smeared in the viewers’ hearts for years long
From North to South, the continent is black
East to West neither indifferent
Expressing unity in its entirety
With one common thing to offer
The sunset in Africa
