A Rose From The Garden
You smell sweet
Beauty that’s divine
Many sort to imitate
This gift protected by its’ own beauty
None to duplicate
Or denies it’s selfish thorns
Many desire to hold & control
Bee buzz with envy
Plants mingle about you
You relish in home fields
Houses build especially to embrace you
I adore your mystery of pain & pleasure
The wind dances to your sight and smell
I’d like to dance alone with you
But you bring life & joy to many
The sun caresses you each day
As the rain plays a game that becomes you
You are ordained bye sights unseen
Earth’s prized possession
I’m happy to gaze upon you and smell your nectar
You are the Rose
Written bye
