As always a true wordsmith spins her words for you - enjoy....

Thoughts Trespass Into Light
as nightfall rises the thoughts trespass into light
anger wells in a puddle of rain, a pain surges like a wave breaking on the ocean's edge,
the voices won't grow quiet because night wakens their spirits
angels dance around me i can feel them like wisps of wind they call me out on a cold winters rim of snow
soft petals of flowers float through the chill cracking the ice into tiny little slithers of glass
cutting deep, hurting more than words can describe, a rush of fear flows like lava over the volcanoes brim, it won't be long until sanity dissolves under the heat of a long lost sun
where shines the happy days of nightfall where thoughts trespass into light.

Kristy,
I read this multiple times getting different messages each time. I love when a poem does that to me. Light is the reflection of unwanted dreams that constantly haunt in the night. Blessings Always, Paul. |
