Both our names,
are on the wall.
It's just a feeling,
and that is all.
There's a price to be paid,
for the lives that we made.
Still our names,
are on the wall.
There's no footprints
in the sand,
where we walked
hand in hand.
All this time has gone by,
we never said goodbye.
There's no footprints
in the sand.
It's called the River
of the Sun.
How I regret,
what I have done.
You were the only one for me,
but I wanted to be free.
It's called the River
of the Sun.
Beneath,
a cloudless sky,
the river shines
as it runs by.
It is written in the wind
you'll be back someday again.
It runs beneath,
a cloudless sky.
I carved our names
on the canyon wall.
It's just a feeling,
and that is all.
It was so very long ago,
but I wanted you to know.
So our names,
are on the wall.

| Love springs eternal and hope floats! I hope you get that second chance, though time and feelings wait for no one. A beautiful write. SC |

This is a lovely expression of love lost, of hindsight gained, of wistful remembrance, of the price you feel you paid and of your regrets...the words flow well and even the graphic is stunning...
I only wonder whether all this time and hindsight aren't a bit coloured by that sun...we tend to see golden or rose hues where our minds and hearts engage in 'wishful thinking'...in memories.
Well done, Randall!

| Letting go wasn't easy at the time and it is not easy to win back a lost love. Trust enters into it and some don't take that chance again on the same person. Remembrance are there for you to pull up at times just like two names carved on a tree of your school days love. |
