The Trek Song

This is a song, really, to be played in a Sci-Fi movie--as three teenagers (two boys and a girl) trek across spectacular scenary in the Sahyadris Mountains. I hope interupted filming is completed, because it's a marvelous scenario (sort of Steven Speilberg goes to India) created by a master story teller--AuthorsDen's Sanjay Sonawani.

(trek song - words and music by Randall Raus)

        Oh, we're gonna trek
        finally got away,
        Cross the deep green valleys
        and the mountain tops.

        And we're gonna walk
        way above the clouds,
And we'll tell you all about it,
        when we get back.

        Deep rich colors
        speak of history,
        Temples, forts and buildings
        there for us to see.

        And where we'll trek
        no one's ever been,
And we won't know what'll happen
        until the end.

        Gushing rivers
        down the mountainside,
        Forests, lakes, and rapids
        in the morning light.

        And towers of rock
        take your breath away,
        And where our destiny lies
        it's up to fate.

 [Instrumental break--melody the same]

        In the lush, dark jungles
        roam Bengal Tigers,
        All kinds of wildlife
        that is so rare.

        And we're gonna have
        a great adventure,
Just how the whole thing turns out,
        is up to fate.

Adventurous spirit captured in the form of lyrics, with great imaginary visual effect. Well done, Randall.

Thanks and nice to meet you!
