Some that eclipse the mind
Put one in a bind
When covert moon makes
Their spirit to wake
Although obfuscation
Denies elation
The senses still could feel
All that was real

Exposed ideology densely denied
Earths matter implied
Truth suppressed in outward fashion
Sham belies the real passion
To some, relationships once bidden
All must remain hidden
This type masqurade of thought
Shows methods taught

I'd rather have the light of day
Than cryptic as the chosen way

I guess you did mess with my mind
With this mysterious write!!

Eileen, yes tell me what you think...don't say something different to someone else because when someone talks out both sides of their mouth it's sickening. I thought this to be profound & prolific! I also enjoyed the graphic images also. Good Write!!!

This brings a huge smile to my face, Eileen! :)) No one can mess with YOUR mind, that's for sure as, along with the others, I try to massage my feeble brain round the meaning of your words... until my slowness catches up to the fact that THAT'S just the point! Have to say I'm just a sucker for both... the clear AND the opaque... Seems to me my mind has difficulty NOT wandering uphill and downdale in the deciphering and "playing with" all the possibilities of both. Like a dolphin with a ball, I guess... Here, catch...!! :)) Love this, Kate xx

PS... keep seeing a foetus in your picture... which, I guess, is one of the most beautiful "hidden" mysteries that my small mind, for one, has never been able to fathom... xx

I think there's a plea for directness in this poem which is commendable; so much writing is obscure and dense (although that can be a pleasure for many).

I prefer those who are open and honest also, Eileen, it just makes it so much easier to understand them and also to befriend them. Cryptic thinkers or speakers leave us wondering if there is any honesty or truth in their words or actions. Kind of a different write for you, Eileen, but very nicely presented...great graphic also!!
Take care,
Sherry
