I'm reading,but I can't comment right now, sorry;-)

My blood feels as if it is moving
through my body like ocean waves
in a storm pounding the shore

My veins like  violin strings being
strung too tight causing sensation
of vibration ready to implode

coming from within an echo like a drum
with its hum growing stronger, wants to
burst through the top of my skull

Meanwhile the damaged nerve in my back
sends its screaming message from hip to
thigh around groin down leg to foot

Take two pain pills four times a day
Pain is the only thing they don't take away
,I pray each day, running out of words to say.

There is a limit to what my hands can do
The gout has crippled them severly, praying new meds for heart and gout, will help soon...

Sounds miserable, Eileen. I'm no stranger to that nerve down the leg, so I know that's painful and constant. Hopefully you feel better:) Love and Hugs,

While I hope that the physical pain soon subsides, I must say how wonderful it is to see this evidence that your mind and soul are still quite healthy.

ELAIN...I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THIS...I PRAY THAT RELIEF WILL COME SOON AND...REMEMBER THAT WHEN WE CAN'T SAY...THE HOLY SPIRIT INTERCEDES AND UTTERS SPEECHLESS IMPLORINGS FOR US. I WILL REMEMBER YOU IN PRAYER...AND READ A LOT OF 'HEALING SCRIPTURES' TO 'FEED' YOUR FAITH. GOD BLESS AND THANKS FOR SHARING.

Gout, where on earth would you pick this up, I heard you get it only from smoking to much pot, did that Jersey Brother of yours come by?
I heard an anti dote saying one half glass of sour mash every half hour would get rid of the pain, I don't know about the healing part, but who cares right, as long as you can reasonably live with it. Get better soon will ya, we need some decent poetry here,
Hugs! Jasmin Horst

Sending you healing energy, Eileen. Meds fall short with me, too, nothing has ever really handled pain for me so I kind of know what you mean. Thankfully, my pain is seldom and not severe. I will keep you in my prayers. Feel better soon, Eileen.

my goodness ET I'm so sorry for your pain...hopefully you are also trying some natural healing in addition to the pain meds...keeping your acid levels down and allowing the body to alkanize could help some with the inflamation...Lots of raw veggie juices would be beneficial for that and some detox tea too....blessings to you that you'll be feeling better soon.
