I watched the wind frolic in the trees
in a  dance with the newborn leaves
It 's  a wondrous blow that creates
the flow, which gave pleasure in  full
measure, for nature comes alive in
spring  bringing vitality to everything

The beautiful buds straining to bloom
will be taken from the garden to
decorate each room, with gorgeous
golden daffodils, pink roses, white
daisies, purple mums, orange pom poms,
red carnations, and other  variations

As we gaily wend our way through each
colorful spring day, our senses aglow with
passion for the latest fashion, and though
the weather may bring us heartache and
despair, there are wonders beyond compare
taking our imagination in rhyme and reason
into exciting varities for the summer season

bursting with a vernal energy that, whatever the weather, stimulates our hearts, mind and senses to be expectant and full of a youthful, optimistic joie de vivre. Classic ETW stuff! :)) xx

I hate seeing all these horrendous early spring storms, but on the flip side, there truly are wonders beyond compare in the spring - like those migrating birds, wildflowers, and mud! I'm posting my Ode To Mud this morning.

Happy Spring, Tiger Lily! Love the pic.

Spring is a beautiful time of year, but not for us who live in The Alley where tornadoes and severe weather threaten. Today is such a time: our area under a moderate risk for severe storms including the possibility of tornadoes ... And there's no shelters available!! Pray for us .... Wonderful poem and picture, Eileen!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Texas, Karen Lynn. :(
