Will you marry me ?

A man in a cowboy hat is trying to look good
He would also buy a horse if he only could
The life of a prarrie dog he has to live
A woman he looks for his love to give

He brushes the dust off from his boots
Passes all the men in their dandy suits
Then tips his hat and smiles at the ladies
Walks to the bar orders a double O'Grady's

Three drinks later he felt quiet fine
Now all he wants is a really good time
He scans the room a lady his target
The bar man asks these drinks on credit?

Every friday night it is the same
Our cowboy friend is not to blame
It starts with a shout then a smash after a shot
Now they are all fighting about the girls they forgot

The good looking cowboy without a horse
Is lying on the floor needing a pretty nurse
It's his lucky day Marybeth is the best
She dragged him outside you know the rest

After tending to his nasty wounds she smiles down at him
You know I've always wanted a cowboy is your name Jim?
No Marybeth my name is Winston will you marry me ?
Well I surely will Winston if Jim don't show by three

Cute and fanciful, so full of bubbly life and its mishaps. Enjoyed.

Be safe,

They best find a horse, and get out of town - fast!
