Everyone does not have a happy holiday to look forward to. It could be their health; it could be their wealth or lack thereof or it could be no happiness. May the fortunate ones pray sincerely for those without during this holiday season. Our seniors alone, our poor on welfare, our children without homes. Thank You

Pray for our soldiers
far away in the East
Dying and Tortured
No hope for a Feast
Pray for those who are alone
Pray for those who have no home
Pray for those with empty pockets
Pray for those whose gold they hocketh
Pray for those who have no food
Pray for those who you treat rude
Pray for those who have no tree
Pray for your family
Pray for those who are cold
Pray for those on the road
Pray for those with no one to hold
Pray for those whose souls they've sold
Pray for peace and happiness
Pray for those with nothing left
Pray for those with no gifts to open
Pray for those who hear no words spoken
Pray for those with no God
Pray for those with no hope
Open your eyes
Expand your scope
Holidays are not joy for all
Everyone does not have a bough
Everyone does laugh with cheer
Everyone pray for a Happy New Year
Amen

A HUGE eye opener. All this useful information condensed into a small space. News we can all use and ponder over. Why? We can pray and hope for a better day. We can also vote with an awarness of who is right to represent our land. Happy 4th!

| Prayers are important part of life and starting them out young is a very nice thing to do. My cousin's grandson prays everynight with his father and does so for all family members having some problem. We need to take our problems to the Lord and he will sort them out and give us accordinly to his will. I have so much Faith in my Lord and Savior and pray so much for others to find it too. |

Hi, Karen,
This is a thought-provoking poem, encouraging us to pray more. I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer and this poem had PRAY in it nineteen times. WOW!
I join with this author in praying for everyone, including our troops stationed around the world, AND for a Merry Christmas, surrounded by reminders of Jesus everywhere we look, AND for a Happy New Year for us all.
Keep up the good writing, and slide down all the rainbows God grants you.
