I like how this poem develops and draws in the reader. The first verse is inspiring because it's true to life and all the real hardships. It reminded me that no one seems to have it easy. From there the spirituality and beauty real come out. Love the ending.

You have a way of reaching in and grabbing the heart with your words. Obviously you're going through a lot and it's reflected in your poetry. I hope you're able to return to the seductive side very soon.

you are here, I’m there, in all
spaces between the truth we know
in all the lifetimes past and future
we have already and will yet share
we are distant, but never absent
like music, drifting through gates
... and like music and truth, your words (ful)fill to the uttermost the undeniable knowing omnipresence of soulmate love. A perfect poetic utterance as if through the gates of heaven, Belle. xx |
