emotions felt after attending a funeral

Today another chapter was written
On the pages of my life..
Events that opened new thoughts.
Of how much is lost somehow..
The words spoken recalled
Memories of the living
But shared in the shadow of death..
Questions seized my heart
That all these praises
Spoken filled each heart present..
This day of parting ..
In each soul..
Did they know how much?
Their life had given? Or only
Those who heard these words..
That was spoken from each loved ones..
Felt the empty space this day..
Of life that ended..
With tears that fell
Upon each face...
Made us look inside our hearts..
To ask...how much we needed
To tell each Heart
Our
Thoughts of love
While our hearts beat to know..
Will feel, and hear..
This Love ..not in death but Life
