Enjoy this poem, Shine On Crazy Diamonds

Shine on crazy diamonds in the sun
For there is hope I’m not the only one
Should I run my sweet surrender
Call me out my dear defender

Last among the ladle
See the cats among the cradle
Could I fly among the stars
How I wonder who you are

Hard line, a mug for the money
I should have brought sugar but my baby gave me honey
What life has left it left anew
And this is where I come to you

One day and daylight over
Should’ve felt the tears upon my shoulder
For there’s an echo in the thunder
And with a thought I always wonder

What had life among the hue
Could make the clouds among the heavens blue

Shine on crazy diamonds for there is one
By which the light has come
On hallowed ground there is a sum
Compare to thee my ancient one
