Twilight Dwindles Among The Stars
Sombre sun the summer day hue
Beside the sea of misty blue
Even the white grains of sand
Pass so swiftly through my hands
In twilight there are only stars
Through the looking glass there they are
And even if they seem so far
Twilight dwindles among the stars
Through senseless flurry there is the breeze
That sweeps among the march of trees
Rest weary soldiers among the eves
To hear the rush of fallen leaves
No truth is bound in this my youth
And I am bound within this my truth
Wavering hand that held thy harp
Remember times when tears depart
From yonder eyes with tearful cries
Among the stars beneath the skies
To step beyond with fledgling wings
Through the Valley of the Kings
Creed gives way to why I grieve
For I am bound in life perceived
