... zero fat! No pain, no gain! and all that rhetoric. ...

Image (c) 2008, Karla Dorman

... give me the real COLA,
instead of this die.t
crap government says
seniors and Veterans
should be on - zero fat!
no pain, no gain!  and all
that rhetoric.  If good
for U.S., why not them?  While
we starve, they gorge themselves
on special interests
and porkbarrel spending,
and all I'm left with is
a bitter aftertaste,
one that I can't spit out. ...

Very eye-opening, Karla. They want to control it all, huh? I prefer diet cola - Diet Dr. Pepper is my fix. lol. But you shouldn't have to have it if you don't want it. Hugs,

What a great talent you are Karla. I'll cut calories elsewhere but when it comes to Coca Cola I want the real thing. The same goes for the guys in Washington but I'm beginning to wonder if there's a real one amongst them.

Clever, as always, Karla.

there was a young lady named Karla
who served diet Coke to her friends in the parla,
until that unhappy day, she sighed,
when a friend sipped his cola and died...
and rode up to heaven on a funicular-la

With apologies, gene.

You're right Karla and it's been this way much, much too long. I believe the government has viewed seniors as a burden and veterans as disposable commodities.
