After all these years...A touch of light...I remember crying in the rain...Thinking my Love for you...Never slip away...
|

Across the room
I see you once again
After all these years
The look in your eyes
A touch of light
The old sparkle I remember
Telling me
A part of your heart still hurt
Your arms smother her
The same way you did me
I remember crying in the rain
Thinking my Love for you
Never slip away
Ah’ the years like a new stream at birth
Winding and turning
As the seasons do
Bringing a rebirth to ourselves
Special and new
Love does come again
Though a side of us
Fear letting it in
Taking a deep breath
My heart finally gave in
Long after yours
I took the plunge
Now my heart in radiance
Wish you my best
No matter what
For
Channels of our Love
Come and go
Sometime or another
Remember us both
A flame

I also believe that love doesn't ever truly die, it ebbs and falls and we lose sight of it and even drift apart on separater roads but the spark is always there somewhere dormant...perhaps waiting for the world to spin sychronized again.
