Puddle Dancing

After a soft summer rain,
late in the afternoon,
there lay puddles to reflect the
light of the moon.

Her fullness shimmers upon
the rippling water, as a warm
breeze blows. Then droplets
fly as feet land swiftly, splashing
carefree.

Laughter can be heard as
a pair of grown children dance
within the light of the moon.
Splashing through puddles,
basking in the moonlit glow.

Smiling faces reflect within the
tiny pools of Nature’s sweet
gift, laughing like children
dancing at night with innocence
on their side.
