This Will Haunt You

Karma is real.

Be careful today what you do,
The morrow night's dreams,
May just haunt you.
For life's not just a game you see,
It was only us,
And your family.

Gone is boundless love from me,
Needlessly thrown away.

Sorry now, I know you'll be,
Living till your life's end,

Without me.

... you're tellin me Karma is real... you breathe oodles of it into your words here, Walt, and no other expression of pain or grief is necessary. Karma does it's own work. You've said all that needs to be said - and said it with dignity, clarity and insight. A very affective and effective write. I hope you're well. xx

The only good out of my life is that I done so to assure myself that for the rest of my life I don't need to look back over my shoulder...nobody is there.
The others?...they will live to the end of their lives...without me.

You know that saying , "You don't know what you got till it's gone", suits this poem very well. It's her loss not yours, stay well, and thank you for sharing your poetry.
