The horns of a dilemma at home.
|
I put down the camera,
And pick up the pen.
Then put down the pen,
And pick up the camera again.
Can’t you just see what,
A predicament I’m in?
I’m stuck between mediums,
This dilemma must end.
Go out for a walk with my camera,
Yes, that’s what I’ll do.
But it's no answer to my dilemma,
There’s a rock in my shoe.
So back I go,
To my little den.
I put down the camera,
And look at my pen.

Way to go Walt
I enjoy my poetry reading, writing it
and reviewing others who feel the same
I too like my camera, a photo kind of Ham I am
Peace Walt

| Walt, follow your artistic heart to the one that is pulling with the strongest emotions -- It is possible to share between the two and impart equal passion to both -- in the end it is all about the joy of living -- I bid you joy love and peace my dear friend -- Jon Michael |

| BigGrin! I have this dilemma all the time, Walt. I'm a quarter mile from Rocky Mountain National Park and have a 7x7 bull elk peaking in my window right now. Should I write about it, or go for my camera and risk scaring it off? Terry |
