Of all the characters
playing the role of human,
you were the best.
Not once did I doubt your performance.
I gave you standing ovations,
brought roses to your dressing room
and
watched you as you grew.
Ah,
but when the act was over,
and all the people gone,
you disappeared like all my dreams;
the final curtain drawn.
