we bought the painting that was entitled "love" -
splashed with glorious smiles,
peaceful days
and perfect relationships,
and
as we carried it with us,
the illuminous, flourescent light of reality
awakened senses in brightness
like
naked faces mirrored in public bathrooms,
all truth showing through
