Fulfilled hope

Calling into the wilderness with only the slightest hope, a little love of now nine years, seen no more since last February, there she was, all alone in all her splendour looking me over, what joy!!!

Angels all around me,
I should pay more attention,
Their beauties always see,
Love is their intention,

Two hearts again that meets,
That which is above us all,
Love we give as treats,
In portions large and small,

A year and many prayers,
I feared the sweet thing dead,
There in the branches layers,
Was Angelface instead,

A hope reluctant voice with tear,
Cried in the wilderness,
Angelface it’s me, come here,
She must have heard, I guess,

Together once again we were,
She looks as beautiful as ever,
Lots of happiness we’d share,
Our ties we’ll never sever.©25/10/2009

Jasmin,
Not only does this capture the joy of reunion but its spirit, too.
