Heat in icy waters
|
Floating ice cubes alphabet soup,
Submerged movement,
Clasping hands,
Periscope up,
Fire in her belly,
Exploding firing,
Stand down the call,
Imaginary visions,
Fall away,
Succumb
Rest,
What a beauty she was,
The periscope folds beneath,
The captains holding round the shaft,
Happy now,
Mission accomplished.©26/10/2009

Jasmin,
Well, well, a conquest artfully couched in submariner language and image.
Nice one!
