Is it an inside knowing prayer,
An extra added silken layer,
Folded in precious ethereal silk,
Escapes to worlds on heavens stair,
A secret longing deep inside,
Still a babe on suckling breasts,
We know, when hearts still young,
By the universe were first caressed,
We knew the stars within our eyes,
Not yet dimmed, of our earthly need,
What indeed we ready knew,
Now separate by sinful lies,
Or might it just, or might it be,
A lustful wish, belonging to,
Virgins strumming golden hair,
In fathoms deep eternal sea,
A Fata Morgan a, a wishful kiss,
A mermaid’s siren song,
That vanishes in drowning,
Drowning to meet our bliss,
Our prayer though a wish might seem,
To always make in wake or dream,
Once again, again come back,
Come back to where we’ve been.©25/02/2012
