| Joggles the memory, bringing the memory of young lovers to life. Achingly long and painful in the ending juxtaposition. The language is sparse and powerfully emotive. As per your usual genius, the imagery is stunning. A beauty, Dale...Lin |

| Oh dear! What a night!! Sounds like confusion reigns... bit like a scene from a Shakespearian play. The tensions and countertensions are palpable, Dale. I like the confidence you display in this writing. It stands strong and is very nicely controlled, conveying drama without being overly-dramatic, yet very effective. Hope this new decade finds you well and on the up! xx |

Eloquent, yet laconic...this poem shreds the heart to pieces. Such a night! Doom and gloom and chill. Effective writing.
