I asked God from up above
if he would send me someone to love.
I prayed that it would be someone who would love me too.
My prayers were answered and he sent me you.
Oh what a wonderful thing
our love is real and not just a fling.
I always hoped to have a love like you
but I had lost all hope that my dreams would come true .
I waited and waited for you to come and love me like I love you.
I am so happy, I can't believe it's finally true .
As we walk together hand and hand
I am so happy that our romance began.
I know our love will survive through stormy weather
because I feel in my heart we are meant to be together forever.
