The painting of Love Birds was done by my daughter Victoria. It is one of her first abstract like pieces. She painted it on an old window, as she likes to do.
It is amazing that old junk can be turned into beautiful art. As the saying goes, " Some people's garbage is another persons treasure."
I thought the painting was so unique that it inspired me to write Love Birds to go with it.

Love Birds Love birds, love birds, look at you and me. I see you and you see me. Here we are, perched on a tree branch, cuddling lovingly. Hopefully, very soon we will build our nest and start a family I have heard that birds of a feather flock together. I hope that means we will always stay side by side now and forever. I give you a peck and you give one to me, Kissing birds is what we are, and it’s as sweet as can be. Love birds, Love birds, look at you and me. We are as happy as two love birds can ever ever be. Beautiful and wise composition. "Love Birds" takes one to remember
the social and family commitments to build and accomplish; to
unite and share.
Thank You Poet, for this inspiring message on togetherness and love.

| I had a pair of lovebirds and they raised young ones. Your daughter's painting reminds me of something that I would do. Congratulations on surviving cancer twice. So have I and I live in Virginia too. I am about fifty miles west of Richmond. |
