Why Is It?

                                  WHY IS IT?

Why is it that some people don’t ever come through with their promises?

Is it because they had no intention of keeping them, or is it that they just don’t care enough about their word and just dismiss it?

Should we give them the benefit of the doubt, and say they had other priorities they needed to do.

Is that why they don’t come through? I don’t think so do you?

I believe they think we are just believing fools.

Maybe they are just lazy or uninspired, or maybe they think keeping their promises is just too hard.

Do we expect too much or do some people use that thought just as a crutch?

Why is it that when we think someone cares enough about us to come through for us, we get let down?

Why is it when we believe in them they dash our hopes to the ground?

Why is it that some people let lies roll off their tongues as if they were telling the honest truth? I don’t understand how they can do that do you?

They say they will do this or do that for us, but they never do it, and they don’t expect us to make a fuss.

Why is it that some people are so false and fake? Were they born that way or just keep making mistakes?

Why is it, I keep asking myself? Are there not many honest people left?

Why is it I ask over and over again? Will people ever change and become new personalities and start promising keeping once again?

Just why is it?

because the mind has rendered most of the population unconscious..less than 10% of humanity is completely enlightened and aware of itself and how it creates reality

your piece questions reality and is a good sign of awakening to a greater possibility of alive

Hi Judith, you speak for pratically everyone in terms of those questions that you asked.I think in today's world, people lack humanity for each other. You know yesterday,I was talking to this woman and she said that all people care about is themselves. Its all about me,me me and I agree with her.We get so caught in ourselves that we never take the time out to think about others first.I enjoy reading this poem, take care

Have you ever gone into the office, set all your priorities, thinking what you are going to do tomorrow; then when tomorrow come, there always new priorities that needs to be done, and your old priorities are left behind for another day?

Why is it the world is changing frequently? Why is it that you want to go somewhere in a hurry someone is always in front of you driving 10 miles an hour?

There are so many why's, but why are there so few answers?
