I love America, but I hate what America is becoming! There is too much government and less rights for Americans. It is time to PRAY America and stop the insanity. |
|
America is marching into Hell,
While a clueless government assures that all is well.
Our drunk with power government,
Leads the march into Hell, cheering America's descent.
Leaders who are unworthy to lead,
Are gluttons feasting on greed.
Elected by the people, to sit in exhaulted seats,
The common folks forgotten, they pander to the elite.
Two parties, cause the masses to divide,
Each having an agenda, both fill with deceit and lies.
Politicians always come, promising change,
They always have a better plan, so they disassemble and rearrange.
Politican's babble keep races at war,
Never a chance for unity, peace never gets in the door.
Chosen Leaders become royalty, they use the common folk's money to buy wine and song,
While the Common Folks do without, Leaders have no sense of wrong.
Sadly, Godless Politicans are elected to rule our land,
But God and the quest for freedom, is the only reason that America now stands.
Blood was shed so America could be,
It is the home to the brave and the land of liberty.
Elected politicans should protect our Constitution, that is why they hold a chair,
They should represent the people and make sure things are done fair.
I now find when I cast my vote, I sadly see,
My chosen representative does not speak for me.
A Pimping Government treats Lady Liberty like a prostitute,
They plunder her assets, plunder and loot.
Surly GOD'S tears are being shed over America's plight,
HE hopes that the people will wake up and set things right.
But the people don't want to admit that their vote was a mistake,
They want to believe the lies, that all will be rosy, for their sanity's sake.
While our clueless leaders, assure that all is well,
We follow blindly as our fearless leaders lead America and her people into HELL.

A most apt and timely rant, SC. Sadly, it's not much different here I'm afraid... ...and what about the UK? On another topic, I just realized that I recently posted a poem here entitled "Southern Comfort." Thank you for sharing your perspective. Love and best wishes,

SC you have been missed, it is so nice to read your work again.
I have to say the Government makes their own rules and it usually pleases them. Thank you for sharing.
