Notes : Petrol prices were sky high around this period and this is perhaps the reason why the roads were so quiet.

I lived on the coast Of New Jersey (US) & everytime, even if I were asleep with my parents driving home, I smelled that salt marsh and knew before I looked that I was home...a very nice poem as if brought back memories most clearly...Ed
