| Very clever ideas and images woven together seamlessly in delightful plainspeak, Amber. The short lines as statements certainly capture the raw energy, verve and momentum of such defragmentation swirling and congealing together. I especially like how you've inverted our expectation where de- usually means to detract, dismantle (whereas here obviously it is the opposite, as is consistent with the root word's meaning). And how the first two stanzas are mirrors of each other. A rapturous helter-skelter, exuberant and breathless, that instills a sense of invincibility. I like! :)) TY Kate xx |
