This poem is dedicated to two beautiful women. They have been away for way too long. I am so happy to have them back among us. Welcome back, Kathy and Susan!!! I love you!

Time is Not The Enemy

by Amber "V" Moonstone

11/07/09

Most people believe that time heals all,
Most people say, "I will worry about that tomorrow."
Most people put off what they should do
today, for tomorrow.

Well, what if tomorrow doesn't come?
Time becomes the enemy,
Worrying about the future,
brings negativity into your being.

Putting off your life for tomorrow,
only brings sadness and disappointment
It overshadows any happiness
and makes life unbearable.

By holding true to "living in the moment"
it enables you to feel and live your life
to the fullest and prepares you for the end.
There are no guarantees in life.

There are, however, challenges,
trials, tribulations, joy, love, happiness.
Choosing to be joyful, loving, and happy.
Never allows negativity to enter your life.

Positivity is the vehicle for a beautiful life by
enhancing your health, wealth, and beauty.
Ultimately time, can stand still,
if you allow only positivity into your life.

Living your life to the fullest,
prepares you for life's finale.
No regrets or sadness,
only joy and willingness to live life now!

Time is not the enemy,
Fear is!
Step up, take a chance,
Let positive vibrations rule your life!

What makes this so well done is that I can argue with the premise while still enjoying the art. Few poets can manage that. Good for you!

Time is not the enemy but surely it works overtime to give us that impression, because my friend, if somebody never lies...they are the wrinkles! And many beautiful ladies can age graciously holding that glow of silky roses.

This poem speaks to the essence of who I am. Sadly, I'd lost sight of me and let quick sand try to drag me down. It worked [for a while], but then I found myself while looking for something else. I am blessed to have had the tenacity to stay "on the prowl."

Your words speak volumes of encouragement. I am copying this and keeping it with me. You know, just in case...

Thank you and may God continue to bless you. Kath

I've become a very humble person Amber. Before, I would say I was humble but I never realized what it meant until I almost died twice in a few months. My positivity took over when I was at the bottom and I vowed to get my health back. I was on dialysis for renal failure and then....my kidneys started to work on their own. I recall my nurse crying when she heard it. I was taken off dialysis and put on insulin. I wasn't having that either. Now I am insulin free, no meds for kidneys and I'm picking up the pieces and going home where I belong. I'm as positive as I can be about everything and my old attitude gave way to humbleness. There is so much more in the simple things in life than there was before and believe me, this woman shines .
Thank you for this tribute and I assure you I missed that beautiful smile of yours too.
Love,
peace and harmony!

I've heard it said that the definition of God is the omnipresent "here-and-now." When we dwell in the past (resentment) or fret about the future (fear) it is like leaving the confines of where "God" resides and venturing off on our own. No wonder it's so scary out there. The two most damaging and fear-based words in the English language are "what if?" It has been suggested that we replace "what if" with "don't project." Then we are transported softly back into the moment, which you nicely described. Okay, that's all for now. What if this review is too lengthy???????
